Habits-Tasks Tracker ("the app") is a personal planner for Android. This page explains what data the app handles, where it goes, and how you can remove it. In short: your plans stay on your phone, backups go to your own Google Drive, and nothing is sent to an AI service unless you turn that feature on and use it.
1. Data stored on your phone
Your goals, habits and their history, tasks, categories, routines, day notes, journal entries and settings are stored only on your device. We do not run a server that holds your plans, and you don't need an account with us to use the app.
2. Google account (optional)
If you choose to connect a Google account in Back up & sync, the app uses Google Sign-In and keeps your email address, name and profile picture on your phone to show which account is connected. The Google permissions it asks for:

Data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide these features to you. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with anyone else, except as described in section 3 for AI features you choose to use.
3. AI features (optional, off by default)
AI suggestions are switched off until you turn them on in Back up & sync. When you use one, only the data that feature needs is sent:
- Fill from words: the words you typed, today's date and time, and the names of your task categories.
- Plan my day: the text, priority and length of the tasks being planned, your wake and sleep times, and the times of your free and busy periods. Calendar events, habits and routines are sent only as busy times, never by name.
Each request goes through our relay, a small service on Cloudflare, which checks your Google sign-in token to confirm the request comes from an allowed account. It then passes the request to Claude, either through Anthropic's API or through the same Claude models on Google Cloud, and returns the answer to the app. The relay does not store what you send. It keeps only a count of requests per account, per day and per month, for up to 40 days, to enforce usage limits.
The provider processes these requests to produce the suggestion: Anthropic under its commercial terms and privacy policy, or Google Cloud under its Cloud privacy notice. Anthropic does not use data sent through its API to train its models by default. AI answers are only suggestions: nothing is saved to your app until you confirm it.
4. Notifications
Reminders and the evening recap notification are scheduled on your phone. They are not sent through any server.
5. App updates
The app checks for updates through Expo's update service. Those checks send standard technical information, such as the app version and your device's IP address, which Expo handles under its own privacy policy. They do not include your plans or any personal content.
6. What we don't do
- No advertising and no ad tracking.
- No analytics or usage tracking inside the app.
- No selling or renting of your data.
7. Deleting your data
- On your phone: uninstall the app, or clear its storage in Android settings.
- Your Drive backup: in Google Drive on the web, open Settings → Manage apps, find the app, and choose "Delete hidden app data".
- Google access: tap "Disconnect account" in Back up & sync, or remove the app at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- AI: turn AI suggestions off. The relay's request counts expire on their own within 40 days.
8. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
10. Contact
The app is still in development. A contact address for privacy questions will be published here before it is released.
